Getting Started

To log in to Gopocket web, follow these steps:

Visit web.gopocket.in
Enter your registered Mobile Number and click Next
Enter your Password and click Next.
By default, an OTP is sent to your registered Mobile Number.
Enter the 6-digit OTP and click Login.
You can also register for TOTP by following the below steps

Register for TOTP¶

TOTP authentication process:

To login into Gopocket with TOTP follow these few steps
After providing your mobile number and password, click on "Register for TOTP."
Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
A QR code scan page will open
Download the "Google Authenticator" app. Install the app if you haven't already.
Open the Google Authenticator app and click on the "+" symbol to add a new account.
Scan the QR code displayed on the Gopocket app using your phone's camera within the Google Authenticator app.
Your account will be added in Google authenticator displaying your client code.
Enter the TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) generated by Google Authenticator into Gopocket.
Click "Next" in the Gopocket app.
Enter the second TOTP to login to your account

Tour app¶

After you log in for the first time, you might see a message asking if you want to take a tour of GoPocket's Web App. But if you miss it, you can always find it later in the menu at the top right corner.

Dashboard¶

Account overview, with a treemap visualisation of stock holdings based on current value, invested value, and P&L. Horizontal bar graph to view the most profitable and loss-making positions. Hovering over the visualisations will display the values.

Pin instruments¶

You can easily pin instruments for convenient viewing across all watchlists. To do this, follow these steps:

After adding the instrument, click on "More."
Then, click on either "1" or "2" to pin the instrument.

Market timing¶

Equity:

Pre market - 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM
Normal trading - 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM
Post market - 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM All new IPOs are listed on the exchange at 10:00 AM. The pre-open session for IPOs on listing day, when the buy and sell orders are collected to help reduce the volatility and improve price discovery, is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Currency:

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Commodity:

Internationally referenceable non-agri commodities:
March to November - 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM
November to March - 9:00 AM to 11:55 PM
Internationally referenceable non-agri commodities are as follows:
Base Metal - Aluminium, copper, lead, nickel, zinc and MCX Metldex
Bullion - Gold, gold mini, gold guinea, gold petal, silver, silver mini, silver micro and MCX Bulldex Energy - Crude oil, natural gas and MCX Enrgdex
Internationally referenceable agri commodities (Cotton, CPO and KAPAS) - 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM All Other agri commodities (Cardamom, menthaoil and rubber) - 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM The markets are closed on trading holidays.
